'yes folks....its its true...not officially but virtually!! eliminate ramos and casillas, change spain's kit to stripes of blue and red and no one would b able 2 distinguish between two teams playing at camp nou (of course, imagine future barca, villa being new striker!)
SPAIN being new power house of the football world, not much eyebrows wil b raised if somone said barcelona,for now is the no1 club in the world. A team of skillful players including likes of xavi,ineista and the young brigade of pedro, bojan and with world cup's highest scorer villa joining in, two teams are inseparable. some people would say, barcelona bought talent, they have no hand in making stars. but as v all know,there's no comparison between football played at country level and at club level. so obviously players have greater opportunities to show their talent from club,which barcelona players are doing for years,and may be for years to come. also The smart club that barcelona is, they have gathered players from local country rather than opting for foreign players.even while doing that no compromisation is made in professional values of the club.
talking about style of play, barcelona been always recognised for its possessive play and lightning speed of attack, Spain on other hand concentrated on small passes and and waited for breach in the defence. still, Spaniards played from their favourite club positions, and yet as a team spain proved their superiority. another question, barcelona has more than one hundred years of history, then why Spain failed to win greatest prize in football until this year?
answer is simple, its all about batch of players. from past several years local talent has improved, contributing to both country and club. barcelona served as the spark finder and a gemcutter, Spain utilised all of its firepower to beat some quality teams in the world, and where else the WORLD CUP 2010 could go,but to the homeland of barsa!!!
